Bishop Williams is a man of faith and like other men of faith he went where the Lord said to go. This assignment was to the mountains of Pennsylvania. Bishop Williams started Salt of the Earth Ministries in his home in 2003. This church grew and many sons and daughters were born to this ministry.
The Lord began to trouble Bishop Williams’ spirit with a particular need in the Wilkes-Barre region of Pennsylvania, in fact he was heard to say on many occasions that he felt pregnant with it. He sought advice from Apostle Floyd Nelson whom God has sent as a Spiritual Father and covering for him. Apostle Nelson directed him to go to Wilkes-Barre and see what God would show him. As a result of the leading of the Holy Ghost and the advice of Apostle Nelson, in September 2011 Salt of the Earth Ministries Wilkes-Barre an outreach ministry was birthed. These Ministries currently feeds over 3,500 people a year as well as provide clothing and limited counseling to youth and teens.
The privilege of being Consecrated Bishop in the Lord’s Church was by the hands of the Late Presiding Bishop Floyd E. Nelson Sr., the late Apostle Joseph N Williams and Apostle Vincent L. Greaves Sr. on September 12, 2012.
Bishop Williams married Lady Charisse Williams in 1985 and is the proud father of three sons Shalik, Dawan and Kamal Williams. He also is the proud grandfather of seven and one beautiful great-grand daughter. Having therefore obtained the help of God, I continue unto this day.
